Astrology, otherwise known as the study of the stars, is a practice originating over 4,000 years ago in Ancient Babylonia. In spite of its ancient history, astrology remains an incredibly relevant and intriguing form of alternative knowledge in our culture today.
Simply put, astrology is a pseudoscience that tries to predict a person’s future based on the position of planets and other objects in the solar system.
Each planet or object carries different meanings depending on its location. Astrology takes this information and combines it with users birth date and time to present their future outlook or horoscope.
